This app enables IT departments as well as IT equipment rental companies to quickly and efficiently control which department / user is using which IT equipment like laptops, screens, printers etc.Not only does it work as a complete IT asset management system, it also provides information about actual asset location and numerous asset details like serial number, warranty expire etc.
This app is especially useful for mobile IT workers going from office to office for repairing, replacing, delivering or collecting back IT equipment.
Each asset is identified by either a bar code / QR code or by an NFC tag.
The advantage of NFC tags is, that tampering is impossible whereas it is pretty simple to copy a bar code or a QR code.
On the other side NFC tags are more expensive than printed bar code / QR code labels.
The data is synchronized with the ginstr cloud and can be accessed on any mobile phone, tablet or PC.
